    Richard,

It seems like you have a good handle on your internal marketing strategies. I believe adding trade show marketing to your line up would help in the success of your entire marketing plan.

There are many advantages to exhibiting in trade shows.

I would start with adding a personalized trade show invitation to your print campaign for prospective clients this will drive them to your exhibit booth and get them interacting with your sales reps.

Being in front of trade show attendees will give them a reality of your product, services and your company.

Buyers see value in product when they can see it demonstrated and ask questions on the trade show floor.

Trade Show Attendees should be considered qualified contacts, they are attending because of an interest in your specific industry.

Finding new customers and selling more of your products is your ultimate goal. The advantage of exhibiting can open up an entirely new venue for marketing.

    Dear Richard:

I agree with the last comment, as to creating an invitation and print campaign, as over 70% of trade show attendees set pre-show appointments. Trade shows are one of the most cost-effective ways to reach target markets and decision makers. The average cost-per-lead is significantly less than an in the field rep. I highly advise creating measurement tools to effectively measure the trade show ROI. There are many resources out there for such tools, but if you need specifics, please le me know.
All good luck and great success!

People who are attending the trade show they go there for one thing, to buy. If you exhibit to a trade show that relates to your business you will get a lot of new clients.
To get the most from attending a trade show, you have to a clear strategy in mind. Knowing what you need to accomplish before, during, and after the show is the first step toward success.
