I own/operate a promotional products business. I screen print, pad print, heat transfer and source out embroidery.
I plan on having a booth at a car show soon. I am thinking about holding a raffle for a “car show” related item. Is it kosher to charge for the raffle, say $1 each raffle ticket?
I am on a limited budget, so any ideas to present at the booth other than my logo printed on various promotional products.

Most trade show raffles that we have seen do not involve money, the attendees are trading something more valuable than $1.00, and that would be their contact information.
The best practice is to have a targeted give-away that your attendee’s would be interested in.
