What Trade Show Promotional Items Are The Most Sucessful?

March 20th, 2008 by Michele --> · 6 Comments

We have tried many different kinds of giveaways with our logo on them with varied degrees of success. It seems like promo pens, coffee cups and koozies are the most common items that are available. This year we would like to give something different, something that people use every day and is memorable.  Does anyone have any ideas on what trade show promo items work the best and are unique?   Michele

    Michele, A lot depends on the brand you are trying to market. I find the best trade show promos fit into one of 2 categories. Useful and memorable. Useful items that can be used every day like a letter opener, a ruler, refrigerator magnet, jump drive, key chain or post-its get your brand in peoples hands many times. The most memorable giveaways are original and help to associate your brand with an idea. These might be more expensive but if they are effective they keep your company’s marketing message in your prospect’s mind the longest.

    The best give away I ever received was a huge Hershey chocolate bar with a bow on it and a message that said something like “for a sweet deal call us”. It was from a car dealer ship.

    I think it’s all about what the customer can actually use, and it has to be something unique that builds your branding. For example, a pen with your logo on it is pretty useless, but you could hand-out promotional items like many that Mark has mentioned. One of the coolest I’ve come across was a light reader that flipped out and grew longer all by itself. I think this shows that uniqueness and functionality is key with promotional items!

    Dear Michele,
    The best thing i can suggest is, a pendrive.
    it will be a good companion to each and everybody nowadays. plus if you have your logo on it it will make an impression when ever he looks on it. it will serve them a lot and make them remember his visit to your stall.
    Its sugest a suggetion… there r many options…

    cheers!
